Pizza places in the United States run from a counter with two stools and a stack of boxes to a full sit-down pizzeria with a bar, and most neighborhood shops do all three things at once: dine-in, takeout and delivery. Ordering by phone is still common and often faster than an app, and many independents charge less when you call direct because there is no platform fee. Sizes are usually listed in inches (a small around 10", a large 14", an extra-large 16" or more), and a large feeds two to three adults. Slices are sold from a display case at New York-style counters and reheated to order; whole pies take 15-25 minutes at a busy shop. Most spots take cards and mobile pay, though a few older pizzerias remain cash-only, so check the door or the listing before you order.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. Typical hours are 10:30 am–9 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. Philadelphia is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Philadelphia follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

This was one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. First, they tried to overcharge us for our meals, clearly hoping we wouldn’t notice. Thankfully, we checked the bill. Second, a thief came into the restaurant and tried to steal my phone. The shocking part was that the staff seemed to know who he was, yet they did nothing to protect their customers. Third, the food was absolutely disgusting. The chicken breast and the eggs smelled spoiled, making the meal completely inedible. Absolutely disgraceful. Between the dishonest billing, the lack of customer safety, and the terrible food quality, I would never recommend this place to anyone. Stay away!

Very bad experience. It started with the fact that a stranger tried stealing one of our phones and it felt like the owners were in on it because the thief greeted them when he arrived. We ordered pizzas and salads, the pizzas were good but the salads were absolutely disgusting. We threw them away after one bite as most of us were about to puke, it literally smelled like poo.

Went there with a friend for a quick bite while visiting Philly for the first time. The food was great, the service was fast, and the employees were super super friendly! I would definitely stop by again if I were ever in Philly again!

Some days you want a cheesesteak. Some days you want a very large cheesesteak. I was definitely impressed with dolce Carney. This is on busy Chestnut Street with lots of pedestrian traffic and lots of other restaurants to choose from. But you won’t lack proceeding at dolce Carini. The place extends back and back and back with seating in the front and seating in the rear. There is no outside seating. Staff were friendly. The other diners were a mix of local people and workmen stopping through for a quick bite. I did not order pizza, but the selection and variety is just absolutely amazing. You can order by the slice. Staff are friendly and efficient, and you can tell all the cooks working behind the counter were really on the ball. I would definitely recommend this if you are in the area
